SURFYNOL® 355

Surfynol® 355 Surfactant by Evonik is a low odor wetting agent. It does not contain added mineral oils, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) or alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs). It is designed to provide dynamic wetting without generating excess foam in water-based applications. Suitable for low-VOC formulations. Exhibits low foam wetting and ease of incorporation. Offers excellent dynamic surface tension reduction and outstanding wetting on difficult substrates. Recommended for overprint varnishes, coatings, inks and pigment dispersions. Complies with US FDA 21CFR 173.340, US FDA 21CFR 175.105, US FDA 21CFR 176.170, US FDA 21CFR 176.180, US FDA 21CFR 176.200, US FDA 21CFR 176.210 and plastics regulation PIM EU 10/2011. Also conforms to BfR- recommendation XIV, Swiss ordinance– annex 10, part A of lists I-V, nestlé guidance note on packaging inks, Japan (not on the negative list for printing inks) and China GB9685-2016 regulations. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.1 to 1.0 % of total formulation weight. Shelf life of Surfynol® 355 Surfactant is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
