SURFYNOL® 104 Z

Surfynol® 104 Z is a low VOC, silicone- & HAPs-free, multifunctional gemini surfactant by Evonik. Provides dynamic pigment & substrate wetting and molecular defoaming. Designed for water- & solvent-borne coatings and inks. Suitable for pigmented and clear coatings as well as partially suitable for 100% 2-pack and radiation curing coatings. Used in transportation-, wood- and general industrial coatings, printing inks and architectural paints. Offers anti-crater effect, flow promotion as well as reduction in dynamic and static surface tension. Exhibits very good foam control and reduced water sensitivity. It is recommended at a dosage level of 0.1-1.0 %. It has a shelf life of 36 months at 40°C. Surfynol® 104 Z meets FDA and Swiss A requirements.
