Dynasylan® AMMO

Dynasylan® AMMO by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter and surface modifier. It is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a reactive primary amine and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. It can bind chemically to both inorganic materials (glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers). Offers improved mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength & modulus of elasticity as well as improved electrical properties such as dielectric constant & volume resistivity. It provides moisture- & corrosion resistance, better filler dispersion, increased filler loading and rheological behavior (reduction in viscosity, newtonian behavior). Dynasylan® AMMO is suitable as an additive and primer in paints & coatings, for improving adhesion to the substrate. It is also used in glass and metal primers. Designed for polymers such as epoxy, phenolic, furan & melamine resins, polyurethanes, PA, PBT, PC, EVA, modified PP, PVB, PVAC, PVC, acrylics and silicones. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
