Dynasylan® 1411

Dynasylan® 1411 by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter, surface modifier and as a reactant for product modification. It is a bifunctional organosilane possessing reactive amino groups and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. It can bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers). Dynasylan® 1411 is used as an additive and primer for improving the adhesion of paints & coatings to the substrate. Offers improved mechanical properties such as impact strength & modulus of elasticity, improved moisture- & corrosion resistance and improved electrical properties such as dielectric constant & volume resistivity. It is suitable for polymers including phenolic, furan resins and silicones. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
