Dynasylan® 1175

Dynasylan® 1175 by Evonik is an N-Vinylbenzyl-N´-aminoethyl-3-aminopropylpolysiloxane (hydrochloride) grade. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Consists of silane concentration as 40% of active ingredient and 60% of methanol. It is a cationic polymeric aminofunctional silane possessing hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. Binds chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers), thus functioning as a surface modifier. Possesses improved mechanical properties (flexural strength, tensile strength, impact toughness and modulus of elasticity) and electrical properties (dielectric constant and specific volume resistance). Available as a dark yellow to brown liquid. Miscible with water. Dynasylan® 1175 is suitable for paints and varnishes.
