ANCAMINE® TEPA by Evonik is a standard commercial grade of tetraethylene pentamine. Acts as a curing agent. Possesses low vapor pressure and is less corrosive, less hygroscopic and less prone to carbamation. Provides extended pot life and less tendency to blush compared with other unmodified aliphatic amines. ANCAMINE® TEPA is used in solvent-based baked coatings. Recommended use level is 16 phr with EEW=90. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
