Ancamine® 156 by Evonik is a modified cycloaliphatic polyamine intended for use as room temperature curing agent for liquid epoxy resin. Offers very low viscosity, good color stability and excellent water-spot resistance. Its drying speed/pot life profile has been optimized for high ambient temperature applications where long working life is an issue. Besides that, degree of yellowing upon UV radiation is less pronounced than with many others cycloapliphatic curing agents. It is used in high solids & solvent-free coatings, industrial flooring self-levelling and screed. Recommended dosage level of Ancamine® 156 is 50 phr with bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether (EEW=190). It has a shelf life of 24 months.
