AIRASE® 4655 Defoamer

Airase® 4655 Defoamer by Evonik is an organic oil-based defoamer. It does not contain added mineral oils, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) or alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs). It is designed to control and eliminate foam without generating surface defects in water-based applications. Suitable for low-VOC formulations. Exhibits excellent compatibility, ease of incorporation and shear stability. Applicable for overprint varnishes, coatings and inks applications. Complies with US FDA 21CFR 175.105, US FDA 21CFR 175.300, US FDA 21CFR 176.170, US FDA 21CFR 176.180, plastics regulation PIM EU 10/2011, BfR recommendation XIV and XXXVI and swiss ordinance annex 10, part A of lists I-V. Also conforms to nestlé guidance note on packaging inks, Japan (not on the negative list for printing inks) and China GB9685-2016 regulations. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.2 to 1 % of total formulation weight. Shelf life of Airase® 4655 Defoamer is 12 months.
