Synthetic wax. Acts as a slip control agent, mar resistance agent and gloss control agent. It imparts slip, improves mar resistance and lower gloss in coatings. It can be used in a wide array of binders such as polyesters, hybrids, polyurethanes and epoxies. Dosages of 0.5-1% can provide improved surface appearance, as well as increased degassing capability. Used in powder coatings.
