PL -ITX

2-Isopropylthioxanthone. Acts as a type-II photoinitiator. It is typically used in combination with tertiary amines. It is good in pigmented systems (non-whites). Offers excellent through cure. It is used as a sensitizer to enhance the curing efficiency of both PL-907 and PL-369. Typical applications include flexographic-, screen-, lithographic-, inkjet- and dry offset printing inks. Also used in coatings for graphic arts, wood, plastics & metal applications. Usage level ranges from 0.5 - 5%.
