PL -BDK

Benzildimthyl ketal. Acts as a type-I photo initiator. It is soluble in most monomers, oligomers and pre-polymers but insoluble in water. Its absorption peaks are 250 and 340. Offers very fast curing, excellent through cure, low volatility and low cured film odor. Used in flexographic-, screen-, lithographic- and dry offset printing inks. Also used in coatings for graphic arts, wood, plastics & metal applications. Usage level ranges from 0.5 - 5%.
