Silcolease® UV CATA 102

Silcolease® UV CATA 102 by Elkem Silicones is a UV acrylate photo initiator. Provides release properties against a wide range of adhesive materials. Curing of the coating by UV radiation is rapid and efficient, resulting in stable release performance and excellent anchorage to the substrate. It is intended for use with SILCOLEASE UV Poly 110/UV RCA 170 release chemistry for coating onto a broad selection of paper and film substrates. Also used for free radical UV curing of silicone acrylate release coatings. Typical addition level is 3% Silcolease® UV CATA 102 by weight on the total formulated bath.
