THIXATROL® ST

Organically modified castor oil derivative. Acts as a rheological addtive for use in aliphatic and aromatic solvent-based coatings. Increases viscosity and provides thixotropy. Contributes to pigment suspension. Provides sag control without sacrifice of flow and leveling. Controls penetration into porous substrates. Improves flow and leveling of powder coatings. Imparts very good package stability and reproducibility. Exhibits no adverse affect on paint durability, no influence on water-resistance of organic systems. Used for applications like air dry industrial coatings, chlorinated rubber coatings, traffic paints, varnishes, decorative coatings, high build finishes, anti-fouling paints, and powder coatings. This product is available in Spain, Taiwan, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
