RHEOLATE® HX 6025

RHEOLATE® HX 6025 by Elementis is an APEO- & VOC-free, associative thickener & rheology modifier for high shear-rate viscosity build in water-borne systems. It is a bio-stable, pH-independent and pourable liquid for easy addition. It offers improved film flow & leveling and high film build. It can be used alone with small particle size latex systems or in combination with a co-thickener such as RHEOLATE CVS® 15 or Rheolate® 655 if higher mid-shear (package) viscosity is required. It provides excellent stain resistance properties and excellent applied hide to products. It displays superior spatter resistance and good color acceptance. It does not detract from gloss or wet adhesion. It is used in high quality, latex paints of all sheen levels, inks and textile coatings. This additive is also suitable for high gloss & semi-gloss interior and exterior latex paints and alkyd paints. The typical use level of this product is 0.5% to 3.5% (thickener as supplied) on total system weight. The shelf life of RHEOLATE® HX 6025 is 2 years.
