RHEOLATE® 644

Solvent-free, APE-free, tin-free, 25% solution of polyether urea polyurethane (HEUR). Acts as an associative rheology modifier designed for use in latex paints, waterborne coatings, and in low PVC systems. Provides efficient thickening in the high (ICI) and in mid-shear viscosity (KU) ranges without the need for a secondary thickener. Offers good brush drag, effective flow and leveling control, very good color acceptance and stability. Exhibits low odor, pH-independency, and easy incorporation. Enhances film build. Reduces spattering during roller application. Shows compatibility with other rheological additives. Does not requires a secondary thickener. Used for applications like gloss and satin gloss latex paints, high-quality trim paints, latex paints for interior and exterior applications based on a wide variety of binders, water-reducible paints, and water-borne ink systems.
