Nuvis® BEZ 75

Can be used to fight settling and sagging in most non-aqueous coatings as oxidativily drying alkyd, alkyd-melamine, acrylic, nitro-cellulose, chlori-nated rubber and epoxy coatings and high-solid paints. Cannot be applied to systems containing zinc-powder. Counteracts the formation of a hard unstirrable bottom-cake during storage of coatings, in industrial primers and dipping varnishes. Counteracts the formation of sags both in dipping varnishes, spray paints and in varnishes applied by brush. Also after extended storage, remains active. Gives a thixotropic effect to coatings, even if the product is post added. Improves the brushability and if added to the pigment paste before the dispersing process, has a positive influence on the wetting and dispersing of the pigment. Applied as a swelling and wetting agent to various types of Bentonite-thickening agents. Anionic character, aids the gelling of bentonite. Liquid, easy addition, may be post-added as a corrective agent. Reduces sedimentation. Can be added at any moment during the coating manufacture, in cases of application as an anti-settling agent, should be added before the dispersing process. Recommended usage level: 0.2 – 1.0 %, calculated on the total quantity of the paint.
