NUOSPERSE® FX 605

NUOSPERSE® FX 605 by Elementis is sodium salt of a polymeric carboxylic acid-based low-foaming pigment dispersing agent for aqueous systems. Counter-acts pigment flocculation in weak acid, neutral and strongly alkaline mediums. Shows stability to hydrolysis and thus retains its activity even after extended storage of the coating system. Applied as dispersing agent to various pigment types and fillers in aqueous mediums, such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, talc, china clay and satin white. Possesses a deflocculating power and a stabilizing influence on the particles already milled and de-agglomerated. Reduces the viscosity of the pigment paste, and required demand of defoamer. Provides long-term stability of the paint, best opacity and low odor. NUOSPERSE® FX 605 is used for aqueous coatings, no VOC paints and dispersion paint systems, e.g. systems based on acrylic-, polyvinyl acetate- and polymer dispersion types. Its shelf life is 2 years.
