NUOSPERSE® FN 1566

Nonyl phenol ethoxylate surfactant. Acts as compatibilizer and as wetting agent for pigments in aqueous coatings, as stabilizer in emulsion paints, as dispersing agent, and as an emulsifier. Possesses amphiphilic structure which provides optimal conditions for consistent quality and emulsifying properties. Shows compatibility with both anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. Shows resistance to acids and alkalis as well as to weak oxidation and reduction agents. Used mainly for aqueous (waterborne) coatings. Also used as stabilizer in combination with universal tinters, in aqueous systems.
