NUOSPERSE® 1

NUOSPERSE® 1 by Elementis acts as a dispersing, wetting and stabilizing agent. Efficiently wets and deflocculates most organic and inorganic pigments and then stabilizes the finished dispersion to prevent hard settling and re-agglomeration. Exhibits rapid pigment wetting, increased mill output, maximum tinting strength and full chroma development. Shows ease of incorporation and no floating, flooding & rub-out. Fully compatible with non-aqueous vehicles, including medium-oil alkyds, short-oil alkyds, epoxy esters, oil-and alkyd-modified urethanes, epoxies, nitrocellulose and acrylics and chlorinated rubber. May be used as a co-dispersing agent to improve the wetting properties variety of non-aqueous resin systems. It may be incorporated in the mill-base prior to addition of pigments. Suitable for solvent-based coatings. Typical use levels are 2% to 10%. NUOSPERSE® 1 by Elementis has a shelf life of 4 (four) years from the date of manufacture.
