DeuRheo 556 is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer dispersion by Elementis. It acts as a rheology modifier and can be used to improve orientation of metallic pigments like mica, aluminum, etc. It enhances flip-flop effect and reduces sedimentation tendency in cans. DeuRheo 556 is suitable for metallic paints. Recommended dosage level is 80-150% based on aluminum paste. It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing. It is ISO 9001/ISO 90002-certified.
