DeuRheo 209

DeuRheo 209 by Elementis acts as a rheology modifier. It is a special polyamide wax dispersion, which prevents pigments or fillers settling and sagging. It is suitable for solvent-based and UV-cured inks and coatings. It imparts strong thixotropic properties in high film-build coatings.

• It contains micaceous iron oxide, zinc dust and anti-corrosive pigments.
• DeuRheo 209 enhances flake orientation of metallic and pearlescent pigments.
• General dosage level is 1-5% based on total formulation.
• Recommended dosage level is 1-3% for alkyd resins, 2-5% for epoxy- & chlorinated rubber paints, 1-2% for acrylic resin paints, and 1-3% for polyurethane, unsaturated polyester & UV curable system.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing.
