Dapro® FX 2060 by Elementis is an effective polyamide activator for bentonite and hectorite based organoclay pregels which increases the sag resistance and reduces pigment settling of non-aqueous coatings. The product is used with most non-aqueous coatings including; alkyds, alkyd-melamine, acrylic, nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber and epoxy coatings as well as systems containing zinc or aluminum.

By using it instead of polar solvents a soft and paste-like yet optimally activated pregel is obtained.
Typical advantages include improved activation, reduced drying of the pregel, excellent sag resistance and anti-settling properties.
Dapro® FX 2060 is used in paints, coatings & inks.
