Dapro® DF 690

DAPRO® DF 690 by Elementis is a blend of glycols and organo modified polydimethylsiloxanes. Acts as a defoamer. It is a non-explosive, opaque off-white liquid with a slight odor. Very efficient in destabilizing both macro and micro foam. Effective in pigmented acrylic, styrene/acrylic, acrylic/urethane and alkyd/amine waterborne systems. Available in Americas. Suitable for semi-gloss and gloss water-based paints. It is in compliance with REACH, TSCA (USA), EINECS (EU) and DSL (Canada). It is also regulated with ISO 9001/ ISO 9002 certificates. Typically used at 0.3-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing. has a shelf life of 2 (two) years from date of manufacture. DAPRO® DF 690 by Elementis is incompatible with oxidizing agents.
