Dapro® DF 451

Dapro® DF 451 by Elementis acts as a defoamer. It is a blend of oil, glycols and modified polysiloxanes. It is a water dispersible, non-explosive, opaque off-white liquid with a hydrocarbon-like odor. It exhibits good compatibility across a wide variety of resins and coating types.

• It is suitable to use in the let-down stage of sensitive coatings systems where optical properties are very important (e.g. gloss, transparency).
• Designed for water-based coatings and inks.
• Typically used at 0.2-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years from date of manufacture.
• Dapro® DF 451 is incompatible with oxidizing agents.
