Bentone® EW NA

Bentone® EW NA by Elementis is highly beneficiated smectite clay-based rheology additive. It enhances texturing and stippling effects, improves workability and promotes fast water release. It provides thermostable aqueous phase viscosity control and imparts thixotropy.

• It provides good stability in electrostatic coating baths and minimizes floating/flooding of pigments.
• Bentone® EW NA is suitable for corrosion-inhibitive primers, electrodeposition coatings, latex paints and foundry paints.
• It is designed for use in paper coatings and waterborne paint systems.
• Recommended use level is 0.1-1.0% additive by weight of total formulation.
• It has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.
