Eastman™ Liquid Additive 450

Solventborne additive designed to improve the rheology and film appearance of high-solids epoxy as well as urethane coatings. Liquid Additive 450 will significantly increase the sag resistance of these systems without negative impact on paint viscosity or leveling. In some systems, Liquid Additive 450 will accelerate dry times and provide higher early surface hardness. Another potential benefit in epoxy coatings is improved gloss. Paints with Liquid Additive 450 will maintain other key properties such as corrosion, QUV, humidity and water resistance. Suggested use level of Liquid Additive 450 is 0.5-5% as delivered on total formulation weight. Used in industrial coatings and industrial maintenance coatings.
