Ethylene glycol monopropyl ether. Acts as a colorless, water-miscible solvent for coatings. Offers good coupling solvent and solvent activity. Provides low volatility/low vapor pressure. Imparts lower surface tension. Exhibits slow evaporation rate, good viscosity control in waterborne resins, and high flash point. Used in plastic coatings, lacquers, enamels and lacquers.
