Diethylene glycol monopropyl ether. Acts as a slow evaporating, water-miscible solvent for use in solution and water-dilutable coatings. Also acts as a coalescing aid. Offers low volatility/low vapor pressure. Provides good solvent activity and lower surface tension. Improves substrate wetting. Used for automotive OEM coatings, plastic coatings and varnish.
