Masil® Ultra SL 1000

Masil® Ultra SL 1000 by DyStar is a zero VOC, low viscosity, easy to handle, water-based silicone emulsion. It is specially formulated to impart slip, scratch and mar resistance. It effectively reduces the coefficient of friction in overprint varnishes and inks used in printing & food packaging.

• It is used in paper coatings as well as in water-based flexographic-, gravure- and lithographic inks.
• It provides no re-coat issues and no surface defects such as crawling or pinholes.
• It is compatible with acrylic and polyurethane systems.
• Masil® Ultra SL 1000 is US FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 175.320, 176.170, 176.180, California proposition 65, Nestlé and Swiss Ordinance compliant.
• The recommended dosage is 0.125 to 3% weight based on total formulation weight.
• It has a shelf life 6 months.
