DriCAT® CV 120

DriCAT® CV 120 by Dura Chemicals is a cost effective alternative to cobalt driers. It is 1:1 cobalt 12% replacement in conventional oxidative cure coatings. It is made using patented activated technology. DriCAT® CV 120 results in excellent drying times and superior crosslink density. This additive offers improved catalytic performance and regulatory advantages over competitive drier technology. It falls below the threshold of EU carcinogen and reprotoxic labeling requirements while providing a whiter film which yellows less when compared to conventional cobalt driers. It is used in paints and coatings. It is REACH compliant and direct w/w replacements for Duroct Cobalt 12% (CV120).
