XIAMETER™ OFS-6030 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6030 Silane by Dow is a 98% active, high purity 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane. Acts as an adhesion promoter and coupling agent. It improves chemical bonding and increases transparency of polyester fiber glass composites. It shows increased composite dry & wet tensile and flexural strength. It improves adhesion of free radical cured resins such as polyester to inorganic surfaces, including fiber glass, clay, quartz and other siliceous materials. It is compatible with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, vinyl binder systems. XIAMETER™ OFS-6030 Silane is suitable for radiation-cured, waterborne and solventborne coatings. Complies with the FDA 177.2465 regulation. Recommended use level is 0.1-3.0%.
