XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane by Dow is a 99 % active aminoethylaminopropyl trimethoxysilane. Acts as an adhesion promoter and coupling agent. Offers increased composite wet & dry tensile, flexural and compressive strength & modulus. It is compatible with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy and polyurethane binder system. It is suitable for clay reinforced elastomers such as natural and nitrile rubber, mineral reinforced nylon 6, nylon 6/6 and polybutyleneterephthalate, fiber glass reinforced phenolic, melamine and epoxy thermoset composites. XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane is recommended for pigment treatment in waterborne and solventborne coatings. Used in glass and mineral wood insulation, abrasives and molding components. Complies with the FDA 175.105, 176.300, 177.1390 regulation. Typical usage level is 0.5-2.0%.
