WALOCEL™ XM 30000 PV

WALOCEL™ XM 30000 PV by Dow is a thickener based on cellulose ether. It allows low spattering when applied by brush or roller, high water retention capacity, and lap-free application by brush or roller. It offers no pigment flocculation, optimum use of color pigments, uniform and high-covering films. It provides good storage stability and good thickening effect. It can be supplemented by combination with suitable synthetic thickeners. It has been chemically treated to delay their solubility which makes it easy to incorporate into the coating formulation. It effectively prevents the formation of gel particles and, as a result, the clumping of the pigments. WALOCEL™ XM 30000 PV is suitable for use in high-quality, wash- and scrub-resistant indoor emulsion paints and silicate emulsion paints. It is used in masonry paints and full-color paints. Its recommended usage level is 0.2-0.6%.
