UNOXOL™ Diol by Dow Chemical 1,3/1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol. Acts as a solvent. Possesses very good solvent solubility. Exhibits low solution viscosity. Contains two primary hydroxyl groups that have very good reactivity. Provides high reactivity with aminoplast and polyisocyanate crosslinkers. Offers a very good balance of hardness, flexibility, chemical resistance and UV stability. UNOXOL™ Diol is used in automotive coatings, appliance coatings, coil coatings, powder coatings and other general industrial coating applications.
