UCAR Polyphobe™ TR-116 by Dow Chemical is a high solids hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble emulsion (HASE). Used as a high-efficiency rheology modifier for imparting premium rheology in interior and exterior water-borne coatings formulations. Offers ease of incorporation and rapid viscosity. Possesses low odor and zero VOC. Provides very good flow, leveling and spatter resistance, high gloss development and microbial and mildew resistance. UCAR Polyphobe™ TR-116 shows a unique combination of high stormer efficiency and high ICI viscosity.
