PROGLYDE™ DMM by Dow Chemical is a dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether. Acts as an aprotic solvent for use in water-based polyurethane/isocyanate coating systems and active solvent for solvent-based coatings. Possesses high solvency, coupling and coalescing ability. Exhibits low toxicity, low odor, and moderate evaporation rate. Offers thermal and chemical stability. PROGLYDE™ DMM is used in polyurethane/ isocyanate coating systems.
