OROTAN™ 1124 Dispersant

OROTAN™ 1124 by Dow Chemicals is a hydrophilic copolymer used in formulation of latex paint formulations from high gloss enamels to low sheen and flats. Exhibits excellent- color compatibility and viscosity stability, heat-age and shelf stability, color acceptance with high reproducibility, high gloss potential. It is supplied at high solids (50%) in the ammonia neutralized form and was designed to maximize gloss potential where needed, while aiding good viscosity, flow and wet adhesion in interior and exterior flat to gloss formulations. Shows excellent compatibility with colorants for good color acceptance and is low foaming for ease of use. OROTAN™ 1124 is compatible with both anionic HASE and non-ionic HEUR rheology modifiers. Recommended dosage is 0.5-1.0% active ingredient based on total pigment weight.
