DOWSIL™ RSN-0840 Resin by Dow is a silanol-functional silicone resin in toluene. It exhibits excellent leafing properties, water resistance and very good gloss retention. It shows extremely high temperature protection over short periods and improves heat stability & weatherability of many organic resins. It acts as a levelling agent to improve the surface appearance of organic protective coatings. DOWSIL™ RSN-0840 Resin is suitable for use as touch-up paints, aluminum coating and silicone ceramic coatings. It has a shelf life of 33 months.
