DOWSIL™ 8590 Additive

DOWSIL™ 8590 Additive by Dow is a silicone dispersion. Acts as a foam control agent. It shows good performance at low dosage over wide temperature range and has no impact on surface gloss. Exhibits low viscosity and has a low tendency to cause surface defects. Offers easy dispersibility and is effective at eliminating microfoam in roller applications. Applications include acrylic styrene emulsion paint for architectural wall coatings, water-borne flexographic inks, gravure inks, acrylic over print varnishes and acrylic urethane emulsion paints for wood. Conforms to TSCA regulation. Recommended dosage level of DOWSIL™ 8590 Additive is 0.05-1%.
