DOWSIL™ 55 Additive

DOWSIL™ 55 Additive by Dow is a reactive silicone glycol surfactant with carbinol functionality. Acts as a flow/leveling agent and mar resistance agent. Provides slip and improves flow-out, wetting & gloss. Reduces cratering and prevents pinholing, orange peel and cissing. It is recoatale when used as directed. DOWSIL™ 55 Additive imparts abrasion resistance by reducing surface friction. It is compatible with acrylic, alkyd, amide, epoxy, nitrocellulose, polyesters, polyurethane and vinyl systems. Used in water-based and UV-cured flexographic ink, water-based wood coating, paint and automotive refinishing coating.
