DOWSIL™ 700P Additive

DOWSIL™ 700P Additive by Dow is an organic group containing alkoxy siloxane. Acts as a dispersant. It is a cost-effective, low-VOC, low-odor, highly efficient product that enables formulators to achieve stable titanium dioxide pigment dispersions with a reduced tendency towards flooding and floating. Exhibits higher heat resistance than organic dispersants. Improves color consistency, improves gloss, reduces haze, and resists yellowing at high temperatures. Achieves an exact color match during tinting and helps in reducing millbase viscosity. Applications include solvent-based wood coatings, protective coatings, industrial coatings, automotive OEM & refinish paints, printing inks and pigment pastes. DOWSIL™ 700P Additive can be used at just 10-15% of the dosage required for ordinary organic dispersants, providing equal or better performance. Pre-registered in REACH and included/ exempted from listing on TSCA. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
