DOWSIL™ 29 Additive

DOWSIL™ 29 Additive by Dow is a carbinol functional silicone glycol surfactant. Acts as a wetting, flow and leveling agent. Offers mar resistance and provides gloss in solvent-based coil coating. It is effective at low concentrations. Shows compatibility with acrylic, epoxy, polyesters and urethane systems. DOWSIL™ 29 Additive is suitable for water-based letterpress ink, solvent-based flexographic inks and solvent-based overprint varnishes. Recommended usage level is 0.2-1.0 weight percent, based upon total formulation. The shelf life of this product is 30 months.
