DOWSIL™ 27 Additive

DOWSIL™ 27 Additive by Dow is a solvent-less, non-reactive, silicone glycol surfactant with both silicone and organic characteristics. It is primarily used in reducing coefficient of friction. Designed for solvent, aqueous and energy curable systems such as water-based acrylic flexographic ink & UV overprint varnish. Offers efficiency at low concentrations. DOWSIL™ 27 Additive provides slip, mar resistance, gloss and pigment treatment. Complies with FDA 176.210 and 175.105 regulation. It has a shelf life of 30 months. It is effective at concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 1.0 weight percent, based on total solids.
