Butyl CELLOSOLVE™ Acetate Solvent

Ethylene glycol n-butyl ether acetate. Acts as a high boiling, slow evaporating ester solvent. Offers superior dispersion stability. Provides low surface tension for good wetting of substrate and better adhesion. Possesses good coalescing efficiency. Exhibits good miscibility with alcohols and ketones, but limited miscibility with water. Shows good compatibility with various coatings resins. Enhances brushability or roll application in high performance coatings. Used as coalescent for waterborne latex coatings, slow evaporation solvent used in specialty printing inks.
