ACRYSOL™ RM-3030

Acrysol™ RM-3030 by Dow Chemical is a hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR). Acts as a non-ionic rheology modifier and ICI-building associative thickener based on proprietary technology. It is VOC-, solvent- and surfactant (APEO) free. Exhibits newtonian rheology profile, spatter resistance, low viscosity and improved syneresis resistance in broad formulation latitude. Offers highly efficient ICI contribution with minimal mid-shear rheology response, minimal KU contribution for improved cost-in-use, broad formulation latitude and excellent thickening efficiency without compromising stability. Provides good film build up with excellent flow & levelling, flexibility, surface smoothness, applied hiding and low odor. This clear to hazy liquid is easy to handle and incorporate during manufacturing process. Acrysol™ RM-3030 by Dow Chemical is used in solvent-free and water based high gloss trim paints, highly toned deep base paints and accent paints.
