Chlorez® 700-SS by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a non toxic chlorinated paraffin resin. Used as a highly effective, environmentally friendly flame retardant in inks and coatings. Provides superior thermal stability, hardness, improved adhesion, resistance to water, acid, alkali and mold growth and compatibility with most paint solvents. Enhances gloss retention. Improves rub resistance. Reduces ink penetration into the surface. Its application includes flame retardant coatings and intumescent paints and phenolic ink varnishes.
