Megaface DS®

Megaface DS by DIC Corporation is a series of pyrolytic fluorosurfactants. Act as a leveling agent. These ground-breaking proprietary products leverage key organic molecular design and polymer design technologies. The fluoro groups oriented on the surface dissociate as a result of thermal processing (when heated to 200°C), thereby offering comparable surface tension (provided with no fluorosurfactants). Provide improved wetting with topcoats and enhanced workability by significantly reducing the time required for plasma treatment. Megaface DS series is suitable for electronic applications such as clear protective coating for color filters used in liquid crystal displays (LCDs).
