Solution of organically modified siloxane. Reduces surface tension providing better substrate wetting. Increases scratch and abrasion resistance. Is relatively insensitive to cratering and pin-holing even at high concentrations of the additive. Has very broad compatibility with a broad range of resin systems. Very effective anti-cratering agent for polyurethane systems. Prevents Benard cells in all types of solvent-based coating systems. Very suited for industrial baking systems, where baking temperatures are less than 170°C. Used as cost effective slip and leveling agent for air-drying alkyds. Used in industrial coatings.
