Silicone-free defoamer. Prevent foam formation during production, filling and application. Demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated. Possesses strong incompatibility which results in strong defoaming and hence the influence upon the transparency of clear systems and upon cratering must be evaluated. Reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process. Is highly recommended in the application systems such as thermoplastic acrylics, nitrocellulose, acid-curing wood finishes, unsaturated polyesters and cold-curing epoxy systems. Can be used in solvent-based pigment bases and printing inks. Particularly effective in nitrocellulose-based systems. May be used in gravure and flexographic printing.
