High molecular weight carboxylic acid salts. Improve the wetting of pigment surfaces and storage ability. Reduces grinding time, flooding, floating and sedimentation. Also reduces tendency to sag. Creates thixotropy. Specially suitable for non-polar to medium-polar solvent-based and solvent-free coating. Used in architectural paints, air-drying alkyds and anti-corrosion primers.
